It has been a busy summer for GMCS/SFE food service!
We distributed 30,000 meals in the form of 5-day meal kits to many children in the community.
We prepared hot meals onsite at 5 Gallup area parks using our hot dog carts! We served burgers, BBQ, and other kid-approved meals to our community kids!
Plus, we offered hot meals at all 33 GMCS school sites for all children during July. At SFE, feeding kids is our favorite summer activity!

Tohatchi Elementary School has two safety updates. First, busses will now drop off and pick up students on the North Side (back) of the building. This is to help traffic flow. Drop-off and pick-up systems are still in place; however, changes my take place after evaluation of the first week. Next, parents/visitors must sign-in to the Verkada electronic system in the front office using the ID upon every visit. This is to protect our students and keep Tohatchi Elementary School safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at 505-721-4700.
