Dear Families,
Thank you for all your support this past November. We appreciate you coming out for Thanksgiving Dinner, our recent Family Academic Night (FAN), and continuing to support us with AHA and school sports, as well as the many other activities we do. As most know, Basketball has started, and more information will come out soon about practices during Thanksgiving Break.
At Tohatchi Elementary School, we have been highlighting growth mindset, grit, gratitude, and goals, with emphasis on goals and gratitude for the months of November and December (4G), and we are moving toward GROUPS (5G) (collaboration) into Q3. We still emphasize THINK from Q1, reminding students to stop and think before speaking.
We have many exciting and important events coming in December, and one of them is iMSSA MOY testing. Please encourage your students to take it seriously and do their best, as this will measure their progress since the beginning of the year. I am confident we are going to see excellent growth!
I want to commend the community for the wonderful student behavior I have seen at TOE. It truly is astounding, and this excellent behavior gives me time to do more as a principal. I know this starts at home, and I thank the parents and community for all they do. Finally, thank you to the wonderful TOE staff having a growth mindset and always wanting to improve and do better.
Let me end by saying, I am thankful for parents, staff, and the community of Tohatchi. Let's keep being #1!
