We have finished September strong, and we are going into October with a positive attitude! This month, we had an amazing time with volleyball and bike club, as well as more work done on growth mindset and grit, which means never giving up. Growth mindset is the belief you can do it, and grit is the follow-through and perseverance. We continue to emphasize positive character development, school safety, and coming together as a community. Our after-school program (AHA) remains strong, and teachers and students are working hard! Shout-out to Koda Allison for representing our cross-country team and doing an excellent job according to Coach Miller.

In general, at TOE, teachers are working on "depth-of-knowledge" questioning in their classes, inspiring deeper questioning and engagement in their students.

Soon, we are giving out Pizza 9 certificates for those who had 95% attendance and no tardies for the month of September. We will continue to do monthly attendance incentives to promote strong attendance at TOE. See flyer below for more information on the importance of attendance.

We also thank all the families who came out to our first FAN night. If you missed it, we are planning another for Q2 soon! As the month progresses, more information will come out about Parent Teacher Conferences, trunk-or-treat, and Fall events.
